CKFMUSCLESW: Tashi Bharucha Muscle Flipper, Stonewashed
Custom Knife Factory
Custom Knife Factory might sound like an ambiguous name but it's definitely one worth remembering. Their knives are mid-tech by definition but the quality definitely borders on full custom. They have a CNC machine shop in China that does a lot of the leg work but all the hand fit and finishing are done in house in their Moscow shop. They use top of the line materials made in the USA and designs from some of the most talented knife designers in Russia.

The Muscle is the much-anticipated collaboration with Tashi Bharucha that's as large as it is beautiful. In typical Tashi-style this pairs a wide blade with an ergonomic, slender handle for a knife that combines both great looks and tactical functionality. It has superior, lightning fast flipping action, excellent fit and finish, and a cool look you don't come across every day. It's a large yet extremely appealing design that carries very well and everything about it screams use me!

The 3.9" flat ground drop point blade is made from M390 stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. The handle is made from titanium with milling to improve both aesthetics and grip. The pocket clip, in addition to the overall look, is what we really like about this design. It's a milled titanium clip that functions like a spring clip being very easy to get this knife in and out of the pocket, so it's the best of both worlds. The Muscle features a two-row ceramic bearing pivot system, compact yet very functional flipper tab, and the handle is comfortable yet large enough for any sized mitts. It's definitely tactical in nature but the ultra-fast action makes this a stylish EDC knife for those preferring larger knives. It's another awesome limited production, individually numbered piece from Custom Knife Factory and Tashi. We look forward to more collaborations between the two coming in the future.

Frame Lock
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Powdered metal developed for knife blades which provides good corrosion resistance and very high hardness for excellent wear resistance during hard use cutting.
Pocket Clip
Pocket Clip
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Titanium Handles
Titanium Handles
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.

Cool knife
This knife is pretty awesome. The blade is spectacular and it arrived hair popping sharp. I'm 6'4" and I feel this knife fits me well. I doesn't feel as heavy as I was expecting though it is my heaviest knife. Despite the weight it's not bad in the pocket, and there's really not a lot of printing on a normal fitting pair of pants or shorts. It rides low and discrete and is easy to draw. In terms of practicality it scores higher than expected. As I said the blade is gorgeous with a very nice satin finish. (I have the satin knife but can't leave a review on that knife because Knifecenter does not allow reviews on discontinued knives and I got the last one apparently.) Visually the only knock is that the handle is kind of a plain color. It's a medium grey and I would have preferred darker grey. Knife construction is solid. The blade locks out securely with no play. The double row bearings pretty much guarantee that. 3 screws including the pivot hold it all together, but internally there are an additional 3 pins giving some extra rigidity. One larger pin doubles as an over travel stop for the blade making the lockup pretty much unbreakable in the cutting direction. Overall I can't fault the knife and it looks amazing and unique so I'm happy with it.

Superb service
Thanks Knifecenter, you went out of your way to accomadate a simple wish, bought this knife as a present for myself. And made the suggestion if I can get a knife numbered something in my birthday Well I was born in 1983, so I received knife numbered 483, so that's made this knife even more special to me, thanks knifecenter for the personalize service, love it, this eighties baby appreciates it.
