Description
CKFSNAFU20: Peter Rassenti SNAFU 2.0 Folding Knife
Custom Knife Factory

Peter Rassenti is one of the premier custom knifemakers currently in our industry and the SNAFU is one of his signature models. It's an absolutely amazing piece from top to bottom with ample reach and real estate for your fingers yet a very slim, easily carried profile. This is thanks to Peter's trademark integral handle construction using a single piece of heavily machined titanium. It allows him the freedom of using a thinner frame to house his amazing blade without fear of compromising the strength. For the amount of material here, you cannot get a stronger handle, which is engineering at its finest.

The SNAFU 2.0 is his second collaboration with Custom Knife Factory, after the Satori, and it's something both parties should be very proud of. This knife is about as true to a custom reproduction of Peter's work as physically possible and each knife is pristine. The 3.82" clip point blade is made of Bohler M390 stainless steel with CKF's satin/stonewash/matte finish. The finger choil and sharply jimped thumb ramp are executed nicely and allow you to choke up on the blade for fine detail work. The integral handle is made from a single piece of titanium with a nice, slender pocket presence and excellent ergonomics. You'll immediately notice the colorful timascus collar but the subtle black pivot screws and thumb studs might get lost if you're not looking for them. It's chamfered for better handling, durable, comfortable, and very aesthetically pleasing - all trademarks of Peter's work. Get one while you can!
