Camillus Knives
The Camillus Carnivore is the tool for every chore. A 12" Titanium Bonded full tang blade which is intended not just for cutting but sawing, chiseling, digging, prying, and wire cutting as well. The zytel handle is extremely ergonomic and highly durable - you won't have to worry about the handle breaking in the slightest. The forward weighted balance of the blade makes chopping through dense brush, tree limbs, and wood easy work. This knife comes with a bonus little fixed blade with 7 and 9 mm hex heads, spear notches to easily attach to a branch or stick, and a two inch cutting edge. The sheath for this small knife can be carried attached to the Carnivore or separate, if a 12" blade isn't gonna be in the mix that day. Includes a full lifetime warranty.

A Cheap Import, save your money
Bought this to hack down some bamboo in the yard, it lasted about 45 minutes before it broke in half! I selected the Carnivore specifically for its heavy blade and it broke against a bamboo stalk, glad I was in the bushes and not out in the bush! Bonded metal does not make for a good knife.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
I have hacked through miles of forests and it retains a good edge. No handle ware, no bends, chips, or warps. The only down fall is hitting a rock, like any blade. I have owned many swords, cutting tools, axes and blades. This one is my choice for reliability, workability and the price is outstanding. When a superior metal is found or maybe a longer version, maybe then I will have a new favorite.

Very useful for the farm
First impression was this is an awesome tool for clearing brush and trees. But I was shocked to have snapped the blade off about three inches up from the handle. How this happened was I clearing a rose bush in tall grass and the blade tip struck a dense limestone rock hidden in the grass. The vibration must have caused the perfect tone because as I lifted the blade up after striking the stone it popped and fell back to the ground. Still very happy with the strength and razor edge cutting it provided us after a full year of use. Plan to send back for a replacement soon.
