Condor Tool & Knife
The blade on the Condor Tool & Knife Bushnecker is made from 1075 high carbon steel and is heat treated and annealed to about 50-55 Rockwell hardness. The edge is hand finished and polished to razor sharpness. The blade features a natural, bare metal look, which has the appeal of a well worn pair of jeans. There is a special treatment over the top of the blade to help repel rust. The paracord wrapped handle is made with real 500 lb test parachute cord that has seven inner strands for further use in a situation where one piece of rope might not be enough. One of the strands inside can also be teased apart further, providing fishing line, sewing thread or help in any situation where a fine, sturdy line is needed. The included Kydex sheath with breakaway ball chain necklace is handcrafted with quality and pride and is impervious to the elements.

Pros: Weight, None
Cons: Blade Material
One of my favorite new knives for camping/backpacking
This little knife is great for on the go. It is cheap and light, but sturdy. Looks good too. The blade is a little thick for everyday things, but the extra thickness makes it sturdy and durable enough to do things like bushcraft tasks if you needed to. I like it a lot. I want a little more handle and a bigger finger choil to keep my hand off of the blade, but that is more my personal preference and fit than a design flaw. I wish I could buy one in a higher grade steel such as 3v so that it would hold an edge better for everyday cutting or on long backpacking trips and be less prone to rust. If you have to carry a stone and oil, the weight benefit is less on backpacking trips due to maintenance.

Worth the money
I actually bought this knife just as an add-on to an order... a cheap little knife to practice with a sharpener so I wouldn't mess up the knives I rely on while I got used to it. After trying it out and carrying it around for a few days, I think I'll get more value from it than I expected.Out of the box the edge was a little inconsistent, but I cleaned that up quickly on a ceramic stone. Doing some whittling tests and box/rope/can cutting that I try with new stuff I was pleased with how it held the edge. The blade is thick for something so small, so it's not suited to particularly delicate tasks, but because of how easy it is to carry and the good comfortable size of it, it's a knife I'll carry whenever I need a small fixed utility blade. Gardening, ramp hunting... anything where I want a small, sharp blade but might not want to clean a folder. Light, pretty sturdy little bugger. Useful. One problem out of the box: the kydex sheath wasn't bonded all the way to the opening of the sheath. I don't have a lot of use for a knife around my neck, but as it was the sheath wasn't secure enough for tip-up carry on the chain. This was easy to fix with super glue and about 30 minutes in a clamp. More secure in my pocket/backpack now.
