Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: Blade Sharpness, None
New skills required
Bought this product recently and used it to chop privet trees and limb the fallen branches. Was cutting mostly ~ 1" thick upright stalks and several 2" ones. Used many swings on the thicker ones, due to unfamiliarlity with the tool and some bad aiming. But it did the work and not a target branch remained uncut. Privet is not a hard wood but cutting the bigger branches is not a trivial exercise. Watch: 1/ How you grip the handle and 2/ the angle of swing. Have had 2 goes at the unruly privet trees now and am getting better. You just cannot slash wildly as with a machete. All else good. It's a strong tool. Had to sharpen it - the factory edge is not good enough. Would like to give it a real test - Manuka!Target is 4 swings through a 2" privet branch!

Awesome
I used this to chop up the limbs from several downed trees in my yard as well as spending a day clearing brush. Flawless performance! Not a single nick in the blade. There is a sweet spot just about where the blade gets wider, all the way to the tip, anything struck below there won't cut. I highly recommend this blade
