Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.
Kydex Sheath
Kydex Sheath Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.
1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.

Pros: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard, Weight, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Everything is OK..... but the hook.
I process game almost every time in the field and really was looking for a heavyweight knife, something cleaver like but not that square, so when I saw the Bush Slicer I went ahead and got a couple. Skinning, quartering ok but gutting....the hook hooked everywhere.Cooking with the Bush Slicer is great, pair good with my BK-5. I have come to like it a lot for general bushcrafting, and the quality and design of the sheath help a lot to carry it comfortably.Wish the hook was just a round hole or not having a hole at all....but still a 5 star knife from Condor!!!
