Ed Cope Custom LR.6 Folding Knife 3.75" CPM-154 Hand Rubbed Satin Blade, Carbon Fiber Handles
COPELR6CFLL: Custom LR.6 Folding Knife, Carbon Fiber
Ed Cope Custom Knives
Tom Mayo is a legend in the industry with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Ed Cope is a young up and coming knifemaker and former US Army serviceman. These two Hawaiians have collaborated in the past but Ed is now out on his own making knives and this is an awesome piece we are proud to present to you.
LR.6 aka the "English" is Ed's newest custom knife design of which there are only a handful of models out there, including this one! This knife is a beauty that will capture your eye every time you pull it out but it is a tool meant for the hard use cutting tasks. It features a 3.75" recurve clip point blade made from CPM-154 stainless steel with a supremely uniform hand rubbed satin finish. The thumb slot opening method cannot be used for flicking the blade out, this is more of a slide open type of folder, harkening back to a time before bearings and flipper tabs. The handle is contoured carbon fiber over blue anodized jeweled titanium liners. This knife is ergonomic, tactical, utilitarian, and most of all beautiful. Ed has an amazing knife here and we think it's indeed up there with the best tactical/EDC knives in the business.
