Cons: None
I originally purchased, not only this knife, but the complete set back when "Cooking Pleasures" was a cooking club with monthly magazines, etc. At that time I had a lifetime membership and was able to purchase items at a discount with a lifetime guarantee. However, they sold out to new owners shortly after I got my lifetime membership and so not only was my membership void, but also all guarantees. I wish I would have known this before joining. On the other hand, I have had this set of knives for a long time. They spent a lot of time in my knife drawer and had to sharpened often because of being tossed around with my other knives. About a year ago, I got a magnetic wall holder for these knives. After sharpening them again and keeping them on the holder they have been great. Instead of sharpening them for every use, now I only have to sharpen them every few months and that only takes a couple of strokes on the sharpener. Considering the fact that they are only medium quality, they do hold an edge well. The only knife I have that I like better is one that has been handed down through 4 generations. Without a doubt, these knives are well worth the money.
