CRKS21112UNQSPH: S35VN Small Sebenza 21, Unique Graphic
Chris Reeve Knives
The folding knife that has become the yardstick against which others are compared, the Sebenza has earned a worldwide reputation for rock solid performance and a "bank vault" feel. It is the standard.
Chris developed the first Sebenza in 1987 and the profile has experienced minor changes over the years. After the entirely handmade version came the Original profile in 1990, the Regular in 1996, the Classic in 2000, and eventually, in 2008, the 21st year of the Sebenza, Chris Reeve introduced the Sebenza 21.
Designed for lifetimes of use, the Sebenza 21 was carefully developed to improve upon its predecessors. With every iteration, we seek to improve strength and longevity, while still maintaining the sleek profile and simplicity of the iconic Sebenza.
Whether plain with a tumbled or "stonewashed" S35VN blade and sandblasted handles or embellished with a polished satin or Damascus blade, wood inlay or lavish graphics, each Sebenza is individually fitted to the closest tolerances. All Sebenzas are available in Large or Small, and dedicated Right or Left handed for the fullest user experience.
Options Include: Unique Graphic, Cabochon Blue Star Sapphire Inlay, and small black lanyard.
This is a one of a kind piece so once it's gone, it's gone.
Chris developed his unique style of embellishing Sebenza handles early in the 1990's and now these graphics have become a trademark of Chris Reeve Knives. The graphics are machined into the handles and are enhanced with either color or texture contrast. Colors are achieved by anodizing, a process that involves passing an electrical current through the titanium handle, causing a layer of oxide to form on the surface. The desired color is achieved by selecting a specific voltage and the color is simply reflected light, the spectrum splintered. When the coloring is complete, the handle is hand rubbed to a brilliant polished finish. Silver Contrast designs use a polished finish paired against the sandblasted finish.
Each graphic is "drawn" free-hand on a milling machine. Sometimes a cabochon (or two) is inlaid; sometimes it is a gold coin or a diamond. The variations are as endless as the imagination of the artist. Talented and creative, Lisa L'Eveque-Hague has learned many techniques from Chris and has carried the concept on to new levels. All Unique Graphics are one-of-a-kind and, although a similar design can be ordered, they are all individually created and are each different.

Semi-Custom or Mid-Tech knives are knives produced by a process in which the designer has more direct--but not complete--involvement; parts of these knives may still have been made by others.
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A tougher steel than S30V, it retains the excellent corrosive properties and ability to take an edge, but improves on the ability to hold that edge.
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
This product is USA born and raised.
