CSKXPLAINRC: Custom X-Plain Front Flipper, Resin Composite
Corrie Schoeman Handmade Knives
Corrie Schoeman's work resides at the intersection of form, function, and art - possessing equal quantities of each. Each design is outfitted with a unique name and shape, quite different from anything else in the industry, and the ergonomics are always spot on. Corrie regularly uses bearings and front flipper mechanisms to ensure that each knife opens smoothly and efficiently. Finally, he uses only premium materials so that you get an aesthetically pleasing knife that performs its intended task of cutting.
The X-Plain is exactly this kind of knife with the unique look that only Corrie Schoeman can achieve. It's equipped with a 1095 high carbon spear point blade with a differentially heat treated Hamon finish, and file worked thumb ramp/front flipper tab. The handle features file worked titanium liners, thin black G10 scales, contoured resin composite presentations scale and marble carbon fiber scale on the lock side that acts as a pocket clip. The file worked titanium backspacer gives this knife excellent balance and it has a small abalone inlay for a little additional flair. It was handmade in South Africa and we present it to you as your next go-to EDC.

Custom knives are hand made in shops around the world. These will typically be extremely high quality and one of a kind pieces meticulously built by the craftsman.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Very strong and lightweight material. Provides an upscale and modern feel.
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
