EMCQC8BTS: CQC-8 with Wave

Emerson Knives

The CQC-8 model has long been considered one of the best combat designs that I have ever produced. I agree. The ergonomics and blade design have merged in the knife to form the perfect union. Perfectly balanced in both a forward and reverse grip, the CQC-8 is a battle-hardened veteran that you want at your side. Now with the Emerson "wave shaped feature", the CQC-8 has evolved to meet the demands of those who need a knife that will protect and serve - Anytime - Anyplace.

The knife features our Patented "wave shaped opening feature" or Remote Pocket Opener. In an emergency or injury situation the knife can be opened with one hand as it is drawn from the pocket.

emerson CQC-8
This is my first emerson And I am very Pleased with it. the fit and finish are excellent. this knife came extremely sharp! the G10 handles are very grippy and have good traction. the liner lock is very solid and will wear down as time goes by. the gipping on the upper thumb ramp could be more agressive that is my only thing that i would complain about it. other than that it is a rock solid knife that I am very pleased to own.

Great knife, great service
Emerson knives are the ultimate in self-defense blades. This order was handled professionally and promptly as befits the quality of the knife.Emerson knives sometimes are in short supply so when my first choice was delayed, I asked the KnifeCenter to suggest a close substitute. They selected a model that meets my needs to a "T" and once we decided on the new model, it arrived in very good time.

Exceeds expectations
Let me start by commending the knife center for their excellent customer service. I made a mistake when ordering and they were able to quickly help rectify it without impacting delivery time. I received it 5 days after ordering, and I am on deployment in Iraq. This is by far the fastest delivery I have ever had. I bought the CQC 8 to use as part of my kit, as well as an every day carry. So far this knife has conquered every task I have thrown at it. I did my homework on Emerson knives before i ordered It. For soldiers, a knife is a necessary piece of equipment. It may be used for anything from opening mail or MRE's, to prying open ammo cans, dislodging objects, cutting clothing or seat belts, performing minor field surgical operations, or serving as a last ditch weapon. As you can imagine we rely alot on our knives. After extensive research I chose the CQC8 and am completely satisfied with my decision. I can without hesitation recommend this knife to fellow soldiers, or anyone in need of a hard use knife. It will serve you well.
