EPCLCSJBRZ: Custom Lanny's Clip Slipjoint, Bronze
Enrique Pena Custom Knives
Enrique Pena custom knives are so precise and utterly perfect that the best, and maybe only, comparison to them would be the custom work of Sergey Rogovets. Anyone familiar with custom knives knows that this is about as high an honor as it gets because Sergey's work borders on clockwork precision. Enrique has been making knives for almost a decade and began strictly with traditional style folders. Now that he has transitioned into the tactical knife game, and transitioned quite nicely in our opinion, he's really beginning to take off. The precise fit, finish, blending of materials, appearance and design are exactly what you look for in a custom handmade knife.

The Lanny's Clip slipjoint is a pattern brought to conception by Tony Bose. This is Enrique's interpretation of it making it a cross breed between a traditional and a tactical knife using a solid titanium frame for maximum structural integrity. The extremely strong back spring is made from CPM-154 stainless steel and sits flush in all positions with a half-stop safety. The action is super smooth with a very positive snap and you need a good amount of pressure on the spine to close the blade. The 3.125" clip point blade is also made from CPM-154 stainless steel with a brushed satin finish. It is a beautiful blade shape with exquisite grind lines and it comes shaving sharp from Enrique. The handles are made from milled titanium with a bronze anodized finish and blue Ti Connector titanium hardware. The ergonomics are absolutely fantastic on this design and you get a comfortable, solid grip. This is a gorgeous, hard use traditional folder and it is perfectly handmade right here in the USA.

Classic with a twist. Extremely well made high end knife
This is an expensive knife but worth every penny in my opinion. The flawless execution, ergonomics and looks make for a worthy piece of useful and unique pocket art. The knife cuts extremely well and is perfect for everyday tasks. Pair it with a fixed blade and you have all your needs covered. It really stands out design wise but also performs and operates as a knife should. Love the simplicity and elegance of the slipjoint alongside the progressive look of the titanium. Great stuff

Cons: None
I had read allot about Pena knives before buying this as it was my first knife from him. I am blown away. The detail in the finish is 2nd to none. The action is silky smooth, and the leather pouch that comes with it is just as well finished. I went and bought another of his knives from here the following week.
