This custom Reduced Styx model is smaller than the original but it's still one stout, beastly flipper. True to the GTC style, the knife is angular, futuristic, and the flipper tab rockets the blade out superbly fast as it rides on bearings of Gus' own design. The 3.5" clip point blade is made from CPM-154 stainless steel with a hollow grind and a very uniform hand rubbed satin finish. The handle is made from intricately machined titanium with Brazilian Micarta inlays, a dove-tailed backspacer, and a sculpted pocket clip. Gus has machined the lockbar without going all the way through the scale in some areas and the result is simply fantastic. It's like a built-in over-extender protector achieved through machining that only Gus delivers. This is a beautiful piece that would make an even better daily user and it was handmade in Riolandia, Brazil.
