JD van Deventer Custom Knives
Johann van Deventer, or JD, as he likes to be called, is a top quality knifemaker from Bloemfontein, the capital city of the Free State Province of South Africa. He builds incredible pocket knives of the finest usable quality. You will find new and inventive opening mechanisms, top quality materials and excellent workmanship in each knife he creates.
The JDLOV is the first fixed blade we've brought in from JD and a great do-it-all kind of a design. It's a bushcrafting, hunting, and survival knife all rolled into one. The heart of the knife is a 4.125" Uddeholm N690 stainless steel blade wearing a cool two-tone finish. The handle is polished green and red G10 and carbon fiber over black G10 spacers. The large finger choil allows you to perform nimble tasks easily and effectively. The handmade leather drop sheath is a perfect fit for this upscale outdoor design and is set up for right-handed carry. Handmade in South Africa.
