JJKC2: Nomad - Titanium/Carbon Fiber
Jesse James Knife Company
Jesse James, legendary bike builder & firearms producer, has expanded his reach into the knife industry. The Nomad is a fixed-break pocket knife design and the debut piece from the Jesse James Knife Company. This knife features a titanium frame and carbon fiber handles which allow the knife to fold and slide into position. Rotate the carbon fiber, which contains the blade, within the titanium frame and once in position, it can be flipped around to unveil the tanto blade. The thin profile allows the knife to sit comfortably in the pocket until it's ready to be used. It has a unique but solid feel in your hand and is unlike anything else we've seen before. The unique and interesting design will definitely make this piece a great part of any EDC rotation or collection and will be a talking point every time you pull it out.

This Folder is AWESOME!!
It's a real piece of work. You have to see it, touch it, hold it to appreciate the craftsmanship behind it.

So dissapointed
I was so thrilled to be getting this knife. Until I got it. Sadly I am returning it to knife center. The knife feels flimsy and cheap. The action is loose and does not evoke any confidence at all. I struggled to find a use case to carry or use this knife and I just can't do it. I think it's a novelty piece at best. I handed the knife to three friends and asked them for their impressions of the material, fit/finish, quality and what they would be comfortable paying for the knife. I did not tell them that it was a Jesse James knife. All three said the mechanism was neat, but unusable for any real life application, no one would be willing to carry it and they all felt like it was probably a $30-$40 knife.
