KUKI4485: Ki4485 Mikkel Willumsen Perock Folding Knife
Kizer Cutlery

Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, Mikkel Willumsen has made his mark on the tactical knife world with his unique design and undeniable appeal that draws the eyes no matter where his knives are shown. Mikkel established his signature brand, Urban Tactical, to bring his diverse drawings to life. Consisting of a distinctive mixture of functionality and features, Urban Tactical products readily differentiate themselves from the usual scene. The classical features of timeless designs side by side with modern tactical functional requirements, Willumsen's Urban Tactical melds them easily into a sophisticated form for the art lover with a hard edge.

The Ki4485 Perock flipper is a production version of his custom design, manufactured with superior quality and premium features. The 3.5" awesomely ground blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with an ample sized flipper tab and thumb stud blade stops. Mikkel is a master grinder, on par with Tony Marfione and Greg Lightfoot, and Kizer has done a wonderful job recreating these amazing grind lines. The bearing pivot system allows for smooth blade opening, as with all Kizer knives. The full titanium handle is a wonder of ergonomics, it really contours to each and every curve of the hand and is precisely jimped for function without causing discomfort. It features extra large hardware, a lockbar overtravel prevention mechanism, replaceable steel insert, reversible pocket clip and is an excellent knife built with a quality anyone can appreciate.

Great Knife
I love this knife. Easy to use with a nice feel in the hand. Opens easily and closes the same with one hand. The blade is well centred when closed and the general look of the knife is attractive. Use this knife for just about everything especially where a recurve blade is better. I expected a good knife and was more than pleased when I received it. Will add I was really pleased with the Knifecentres support when I rang and emailed them about the knife

Nice grind, but maybe not the right knife for large hands
I have mixed feelings about this knife. I love the blade's grind: not only designed to take some real abuse, but also very handsome. And it opens very smoothly. My complaint is that the design and size of the handle makes it a little awkward for someone (like me) with large hands. I own quite a few folding knives from Benchmade, Al Mar, Emerson, SOG, Zero Tolerance, etc., and this knife probably has the worst feel in my hand of any of them. I think for someone with a medium or small hand the handle would be great, but not if you have large hands.

What a knife.
Overall this knife is above standards. Waaaay nicer then my kershaw knockout. The Perock replaced my knockout and has done a damn good job. The Perock is my EDC and it's went above and beyond its use lol. I opened a can of beans and then went straight to cutting a metal band off my crate I got the next hour lol. And it's still damn sharp. Overall a beautiful knife. And an amazing tool. I'll buy another if I lose this one for sure
