KUKI5462A1: Ki5462A1 Matt Cucchiara Trifecta Folding Knife

Kizer Cutlery

The Ki5462A1 Trifecta flipper by Kizer Cutlery is a collaborative project between Kizer and custom knifemaker Matt Cucchiara of Cucchiara Custom Knives. This is no gamble. The Trifecta by Matt is a winner on all fronts, delivering a package full of action and quality you cannot deny. It features a 3.875" stonewashed CPM-S35VN blade with an organic recurved shape and finger choil. The bearing pivot system allows for smooth blade opening, as with all Kizer knives. The matte silver finished titanium handles are some of the most comfortable we've ever held. Every surface and every edge is contoured for comfort and gives the knife a very high-class look and feel. It features a replaceable steel lockbar insert that doubles as an overtravel preventer and comes with a tip-up carry, milled titanium pocket clip.

Kizer uses high-tech wire EDM machines to cut the parts. This method is slower than laser or water jet but feel quality is worth the wait. Each component in Kizer knives are precision machined and engineered to the finest tolerances. The final fit, finish, action and sharpness of each knife are achieved entirely by hand, employing the irreplaceable craftsmanship developed by generations of cutler masters. Dedicated craftsman honoring the long-term goal of making the best knives possible is what Kizer brings to you.

Pros: Lock Type, Blade Sharpness, handle material, Weight, Design, Durability, Materials, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
Monster sturdy and very high quality
Overall massive feeling with this knife, exudes quality. Smooth titanium handles almost seem a bit light wt. for the heavy, near-perfect blade, but feels great holding. Flipping open and closing are top notch. Kizer is a great brand and this one is no exception. I think overall I wish it had some kind of contouring in the handles, so much smooth real estate here; but grip is wonderful so no real complaints. For self defense I know this is the knife to grab and depend on.
