I was skeptical about purchasing this tool, but as soon as I started carrying it I quickly got over it. I have carried this multitool everyday for the last 3 weeks and it has not let me down. I have used it for removing fish hooks in trout and crappie. I have made feather sticks for a early morning camp warm up fires as well. It has been cold here in Virginia lately so most of the time im wearing the Mechanics brand "mechanics" gloves , you know the type. This is coming from a guy who doesnt fall for reviews or comments from people who have not owned the product..I know the price is on the steep side. But if you count on leatherman customer sevice and warranty, as well as knife center customer service you cant go wrong. The tool comes with a sharpener and fire starter. They work fine but I recommend something a little more substatial in that category. The fire starter was hard for me to use with gloves on. Was also a slight challenge to use with cold fingers. All in all another great leatherman product.
