Liong Mah Designs Field Duty Folding Knife 3.75" M390 Drop Point Blade, Titanium Handles with Carbon Fiber Inlays
LMDFDUTYCF: Field Duty Folding Knife, Carbon Fiber
Liong Mah Designs
The first thing that is immediately apparent with the Field Duty from Liong Mah and Reate Knives is its enormous size. This intimidating piece is no pixie and truly capable of any task you can throw its way. It lacks the frills of some of Liong's other knives but it makes up for that with a robust build quality and a contoured shape that everyone will love. As its name would suggest, the Field Duty is ready for work and is poised to become your go-to cutting tool.
The 3.75" blade is made from Bohler M390 stainless steel with a belt satin finish. The action using the 3D milled slot in the blade is smooth and authoritative, flying out of the handle with the lightest touch. The handles are made from solid billets of titanium with contoured edges, beautiful carbon fiber inlays, and a very ergonomic shape. You have perfectly executed jimping on the thumb ramp and a finger choil for choking up on for fine detail work. The clip incorporates the Todd Begg ceramic ball-style retention point and, like those found on many LionSteel designs, can be reversed for left or right-hand, tip-up carry.
