Liong Mah Designs
The Tempest is yet another superbly designed flipper from the talented and innovative Liong Mah. With its super swift and smooth action, this is one flipper you won't be able to put down. The Tempest is manufactured by Reate in China and meets all the rigorous quality specifications Liong sets for all of his knives. David Deng, owner and chief operator of Reate Knives, is quickly gaining recognition for producing amazing quality pieces for some of the industry's best knifemakers, including the Kwaiken by Todd Begg.

The Tempest looks and feels like the Remedy's big brother. The larger profile and well defined lines make all the features really stand out on this knife. This knife is everything you liked about the Remedy, but now on a larger scale. It features a 3.75" S35VN stainless steel blade with beautiful grind lines. The blade has a stonewash finish with polished flats that really stand out on the knife. The big belly on the blade makes it great for slicing and the tip is ground for devastating penetration. The titanium handles fit the hand like a glove and are comfortable no matter what size hands you have. The slight curve of the handle fills your hand perfectly locking it into place. The sculpted titanium pocket clip allows for right-hand, tip-up carry. The frame lock is sturdy, engages smoothly, and has a replaceable steel lockbar insert. This is another fantastic design by Liong Mah that leaves nothing wanting in this great flipper. Each knife comes with a Liong Mah Designs zipper pouch and bronze anodized hardware for that extra pizzazz.

Absolute perfection!
This knife is absolute perfection. The quality of the design and manufacturing are absolutely stellar. The clean, flowing lines & look of the blade (which is dead on, symmetrically ground), handle & clip are a well thought out & executed, totally integrated package. But the real quality is in the details that you can't see: skeleton cuts on the insides of the Ti handles to reduce weight (the knife balances perfectly), a hidden rotating stop pin, a hidden overtravel stop on the lock bar and caged roller bearings. At its price point, this knife is an absolute bargain and the standard which I will judge all of my future purchases, both production & custom.
