The TiDust is the first knife in the world to be made with the DMLS technology: Direct Metal Laser Sintering, it is an Additive Manufacturing technology. Starting from the powder of titanium, through with the technique of selective fusion, LionSteel built the Solid handle of the knife. The main advantage lies in the fact that you are able to get products using high-performance materials but dramatically reducing the weight. The blade is made of Sleipner steel, Uddeholm Sweden, and has a hardness of 61 HRC.

This knife has an IKBS pivot bearing system to facilitate the sliding of the blade. This system is based on two bearings positioned on both sides of the blade that improve the fluidity and makes for very smooth action. The clip is made of hardened steel and is reversible for left hand carry. Two cylindrical springs guarantee perfect strength in mechanics throughout the lifettime of the knife. It comes with a stylish leather case and is sure to be a conversation piece in your collection for years to come. Limited production of only 100 pieces.

Understated but exceptional
I have had the pleasure to own and handle all kinds of folding knives from across the globe and price spectrum. At first glance, this knife did not strike me as a thousand-dollar cutter. It has a handle of titanium, sure, but it is sparely used and laid out in a flat gray web.But upon handling it, all the banality disappears. The action is lovingly smooth, and the lock is utterly refined; solid yet easy to disengage. The blade is not shocking or unusual to look at, but shows a lot of thought in its design. Wide and hollow, it is extremely strong yet scalpel-like in its precision. After a few test cuts, one can see how the open web-shaped handle gives the entire knife excellent balance while leaving no hot spots on the hand. Every aspect of this knife hides happy surprises. Once again, I got what I paid for and more.
