Jonathan McNees Performance Machined PM-1 Flipper 3.25" CPM-154 Acid Washed Blade, Milled Titanium Handles
MNCPM1: Performance Machined PM-1 Folding Knife
McNees Custom Knives
Jonathan McNees has a distinct style which is personified in his designs, especially the Dixon and Skybolt folders. They are some fantastically engineered knives, built strong but not overbuilt just because they can be. They are designed for a specific task, at which they most certainly excel, with a little bit of flair thrown in.
The Performance Machined project is something Jonathan is really excited about. It's been in the works for a while and is now finally coming to fruition. Jonathan has the blades, handles, and spacers waterjet cut outside of his shop and then delivered to him in a bag of parts. He is hand grinding the blades, fitting the locks, setting the detents, tuning each and every action, bending the pocket clips, and of course performing final assembly of each and every piece. It's a mid-tech in a way but you get much more hand finishing than on other models in the same genre which is just the way we like it. This ensures that you're getting a top quality product without the fear of the maker cutting corners in any way. These are completely made in the USA and will have pretty much all the same features a normal McNees custom does at a lower price point. It's a project we are as excited as Jonathan is just to be a part of and bring these amazing, affordable, and utterly awesome knives to you.

Semi-Custom or Mid-Tech knives are knives produced by a process in which the designer has more direct--but not complete--involvement; parts of these knives may still have been made by others.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
This product is USA born and raised.
