Microtech 123-10BH Special Bounty Hunter Ultratech AUTO OTF Knife 3.46" Plain Tanto Blade, Green Apocalyptic Aluminum Handle

MT12310BH: 123-10BH T/E Ultratech Bounty Hunter

The Ultratech will forever set the standard for all out-the-front knives. The Ultratech is Microtech's original dual action out-the-front knife and has been the foundation of their entire OTF line. Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. This version has the improved tri-grip texturing on the thumb slide for more positive purchase and an apocalyptic green finish handle with red hardware, dubbing this model the Bounty Hunter aka Boba Fett. It also features a very cool Mythosaur logo on the pocket clip which was the tusked skull symbol of the True Mandalorians. The Ultratech's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. This ensures that the compressed spring will not become fatigued, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will operate effectively. The Ultratech's light weight, one handed open and close action, slim shape and scalpel sharp, drop point blade make it a one-of-a-kind knife, only available through Microtech. This knife has proven time and again that it can withstand any obstacle and this one is the most desirable of the Star Wars line of Ultratechs in our opinion.

THE Best OTF Pocket Flair EVER
FIRST, When I got the package out of the mailbox, I thought they shipped me an empty box. So light, it made me nervous. I check my pocket 20 times a day. Secondly, I am so happy with the "plain" tanto blade. Slight rocker on the bottom which I did not notice before. The edge is sharp and looks easy to sharpen, but I'm not using this as a utility knife so I won't be finding out anytime soon. I doubt this blade will ever rattle loose in the handle or collapse through the detent when I need it. It is solid (I'm new to Microtech so I'm guessing that's standard. Like the fifth comment in any comment section: "I'm here for the Star Wars not the John Wick"). Third, the action has all the force (no pun) of larger OTF carry knives. I trust it to last for the 1,000 times I'm going to send it out and back in, and the 2,000 times other people are going to do it as well. I won't be quietly using this as my EDC ("Cause I'm proud to be a Texican, where at least I know I'm freeeeee"). Forth...and I can't emphasize this enough for normal knife collectors to understand...it's frickin' BOBA FETT THEMED! The color scheme, the details and the overall look. I have been collecting Boba Fett since 1979. It started with card backs from other figures and has just been my passion. I have seen a lot of Fett themed merchandise and 97% of it is trash. Absolute garbage. Great ideas with horrible execution. This knife...makes up for so much. Thank you, Microtech. Thank you, KnifeCenter. That's my long-winded review.
