Cons: Handle Feel
First Microtech, First OTF, First M390, First Knifecenter purchase.
A lot of firsts here but I've collected knives for 30 years just never spent more than $75 on one. This one caught my eye as a chance to try an Ultra Premium steel M390. No disappointments here. Best steel I have ever owned. It rings against a ceramic stone and if you know steel you can hear the ring ..it's hard steel. Not sure what I will use it for ..but I won't let it sit on the shelf. I've so far cut boxes, rags tubing just not going to play in the dirt with it. It's funny you wince when you drop it then immediately look for scratches! I had a lanyard (gutted 550) on it for a while just to help me get it out of my pocket faster...but it ruins the look of it. It's fun to flick and never gets old. Time will tell if the unit (and warranty) holds up to my continuous flicking. The manual was a bit confusing on my first time reading through..sounded like you weren't allowed to sharpen it without voiding the warranty. I called Microtech...they sort of seemed confused..heck so was I. Anyway folks at The Knifecenter were like use it sharpen it if you ever have to..they were cool when I called about my high dollar knife. They understood I was just giddy to mess with the thing. The knife arrived in like 2 days..and I was refreshing the tracking link every 14 seconds...so luckily I only lost 2 days of my life..unable to function until it arrived. I had it out of the box and slicing paper and arm hair before I could make it into the house from the mailbox. I don't know if this solved a knife void in my collection or created thousands of new voids! Cons? For heavy cutting you will feel the clip digging into your hand a bit. I could do without the glass breaker maybe..but it looks cool.

so far perfect
This knife comes very sharp. Barely any blade play, great knife for the price. Had to own a OTF knife.
