Just the pen for everyday carry pen nuts
When I first discovered the Siphon pen back 4 years ago I didn't act fast enough and the back siphon pen sold out. Now the Siphon II came out and I spent the 155.00 and bought one. Let me tell you this is one solid pen with a highly unique opening mechanism. Only the new Siphon II that I received came with a Fisher 3.5" pressurized refill not a G2. I personally prefer Fisher as an American company to the G2. Anyway is the siphon II worth it? I believe it is. Provided I will not loose the pen acts worth it absolutely. Microtec quality is absolutely second to none. I own 5 of their knives and the quality is outstanding that the fit and finish almost seems like a custom knife. That's what lead me the Siphon II pen in black. I wanted an every day carry pen that wouldn't leak in my pocket or deploy in my pocket. I made the mistake of buying a Surefire pen first. Though well made Surefires pen is a glorified click pen that leaks after it clicks out from your pocket and takes expensive Schmidt refills. The Siphon II pen has yet to leak and is in my front left pocket everyday now for 4 months. I know 155.00 seems high but you will have no regrets once this pen is in your hands it will last you a life time. And the small O-rings give it a nice grip too. Anyway, Michrotech customer service is outstanding as well. Lastly, I have several purchases from knife center and they have always been fair and timely in shipping. God Bless and take time to help so someone who needs it.
