NCCMK1SRCFLG: Custom MK1-RC Folding Knife, False Liner Grid
Nick Chuprin Custom Knives
This custom MK1-RC flipper from Nick Chuprin is a collaboration with Robert Carter, handbuilt together in Nick's New York shop. You're going to love the size, shape, flipping action, and superb fit and finish you get with this extremely precise handmade piece. It's built using the bones of Nick's MK1-S design with a more straightforward tanto blade shape that Robert prefers. The 3.125" Nitro-V stainless steel blade has a dark acid stonewashed finish and beautiful compound grind. It's got a sharp tip for stabbing, a compound grind very reminiscent of a Ramon Chavez 228, and a perfectly executed thumb ramp. The handles are made from titanium with a false liner grid milling pattern and two-tone blue/bronze anodized finish. The pivot screws and backspacer are made of zirconium and the pocket clip features hidden hardware construction. The blade rockets out on caged bearings and locks up tightly while the frame lock is still very easy to disengage. The ergonomics, build quality, and design are top-notch. This is a beautiful knife you will definitely be proud to carry each and every day.
