Hiroaki Ohta Custom FK5 Friction Folder 2.25" D2 Plain Blade, Rosewood Handle, Leather Pouch - OFF FK5
OAOFFFK5RW: Ohta FK5 Friction Folder, Rosewood
The Ohta FK Friction Folder is a non-locking folding design from Hiroaki Ohta that is just a pleasant knife to hold and to use, especially if you like compact blades. It features the extended blade tang which sits on the spine of the handle and your hand prevents the knife from closing during use. It feels great in the hand due to its slim, comfortable handle and rock-solid construction, even though it does not lock. It's a gentlemen's folder you can use every day and just forget about it when it's in your pocket. The knife and leather slip pouch weigh less than one ounce together. The blade is a functional reverse tanto shape with a two-tone finish, made from D2 tool steel. The ergonomic handle is a single piece of rosewood with a lanyard hole and stainless steel pin and washer. There is no pocket clip on this model but it does come with a leather drop pouch from Hiroaki Ohta. Handmade in Japan.
