Ontario Paring Knife
I do like my new paring knife BUT it is not as good as the Ontario paring knife I received for my wedding shower in 1951. That one (still in use) was not stainless steel and has a squared-off tip. It is now sharpened way down but I love it still.. Thanks for a good product.

This may be my favorite paring knife!
I do a lot of cooking and use a paring knife on a daily basis. I just did a quick count, and I have at least eight paring knives, each a different brand, the least expensive a $12 knife, and the most expensive one that cost well over $100, but this Ontario Agilite paring knife may well end up being my favorite. Shaving sharp out of the box, but more importantly, light as a feather and nimble to use. The fit and finish are nice, and the handle is very "grippy" and comfortable in the hand. The 3.5 inch blade is long enough slicing small to medium sized onions, and perfect for mincing shallots and garlic. The blade is wider than the Henckels and Wustoff paring knives - almost suggestive of a mini chef's knife. Edge holding seems more than adequate and touch up on a ceramic stick is easy. This paring knife offers a lot of bang for the buck!
