Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Best machete I own
For a machete, it is a tad bit pricey. But you absolutely get what you pay for. The blade is sharp and the handle looks good. However, The handle is a little on the thin side though, so if you have large hands, you might have to change them out. My hands are medium and they work fine for the most part, just not the most comfortable size for me. The handle also is slightly unfinished. The wood is not sanded down too great but that is a easy fix. The powder coating is beautiful and does its job. The sheath is quite impressive. It is a tan colored sheath that is double needle stitched with red threads. It isn't the typical taco sheath that most machete sheaths are designed after, rather it is a big version of your typical ballistic nylon, small, fixed blade sheath. It has a pocket on the front where you can put the fire starter that comes with it. The fire starter works pretty decently. The lanyard is 550 paracord and is a tan, brown, and green mixed pattern. It's a little big for me, but it still works. Overall, I must say that if you're in the market for a quality machete for the woods, this is the one should take.
