ON7500PC: SK-5 Blackbird Noir
Ontario Knife Company

The award winning Blackbird series was designed by custom designer and sheath-maker Paul Scheiter for maximum performance with an elegant simplicity and the signature elements of a center point blade, straight back profile, and flat heel for maximum utility. Featuring high quality 154CM stainless steel and a black micarta handle, the Blackbird variants come in either a silver finish or with a special operations capable (SOC) powder coating for added durability. All Blackbird models include an excellent MOLLE compatible sheath. Manufactured in the USA.

The Blackbird SK-5 blade is crafted from 154CM. This steel is American made, known for its superior toughness, edge-retaining ability, sharpness and corrosion resistance. The SK-5's blade is 0.13 inch thick and features a full-taper grind.

The perimeter of the Micarta handle is rounded to provide a comfortable grip and is secured to the knife tang with stainless steel Allen screws.

The Blackbird SK-5 comes with a MOLLE compatible sheath that features a rigid protective insert. The sheath also features a belt loop so that it may be worn on the hip in the traditional belt mount configuration.

A Real Value
You rarely get what you pay for these days, you never get more than you pay for. This is one of those exceptions.Competes with much more expensive knives and outperforms many easily.A great value and performer. The sheath is ok, upgrade to the Hedgehog Leather sheath made for this knife , you wont go wrong. Far superior steel to the over rated Esse and similar soft steel bladed knives..Good huntingAcid

great buy.
Just received this knife. Love it. However the sheath will definitely need replacing. But I new that when I bought it. Could have been a bit sharper. But with very little sharpening its very sharp.
