Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Finish, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, None
Cons: Weight
Good quality survival/fighting knife
Because of is shape, the knife can be used as a bushcraft tool. Its has a wide spine good for batoning. It is still very light which is why I think it can also be used as a defence tool. Can't wait to put it to the test along with my OKC traditional machete. The handle shape is really well tought and ergonomic both with normal grip and ice pick grip. It came really sharp right out of the box.

Pros: Blade Material, Finish, Handle Material, Weight, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard
Ok lets get it out of the way, the sheath sucks, any way you slice it. But , at 60$ i think you could drop another 30$ for a custom kydex and still have a better setup than alot of 130-150$ knife/ sheath combos. Blade is an extremely useful shape for slicing and piercing. Mine came rediculously sharp for an ontario.and the grind was perfect. The 5160 steel will also reshapen fairly easily. Handle is largish and very comfortable. Not a great chopper due to the balance being more toward the middle of the blade, but also makes the knife extremely quick in the hand. Excellent fighting knife. Better balance than a kabar.

Pros: Blade Material, None
Cons: Weight, Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard
Where do I begin. I've never been one of he snob types that stick my nose in the air over sheaths, but I guess there's a first for everything. Sheath is garbage, nothing more than some nylon and plastic. The blade like all Ontario knives I purchased was dull, bad dull. I am a competent sharpener and putting an edge on a knife is never a problem, except this one. Worksharp, dmt loaded strops didn't even touch it, will most likely need to do a new bevel. The thickness was disappointing as well, a bushcraft style should be a 1/4 thick. Blade is way too light in the hand for a large knife. Would never buy this again, shame on you ontario
