Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.
1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Made in USA

Nylon Sheath
Nylon Sheath Durable, flexible, abrasion and mildew resistant, Nylon also is very strong

Many the same
Whether it's the OKC, CIMA, SARGE, ESEE.. all the same and same quality. Excellent blades. Don't understand why the SARGE panther is $40 with 440C and the ESSE 440C are $100 difference, but great knives, all.

Little RAT
Small but sturdy day hiker/survival knife. Strong build and nice design. Comfortable, grippy Micarta handle. With my index on the blade choil, the other three fingers fit comfortably on the handle. I like the OD green color, but not a fan of the rough texture on the blade. I gave it a lite sand with 220 and touched up the edge with a ceramic stone. The kydex sheath holds the knife well, but releases well when you need it to. Came with the clip mounted to the sheath. Also included was the TEK-LOK belt clip/slide and fasteners. Fantastic set up for this price. Thanks KnifeCenter for great customer service.

Sturdy smaller fixed blade
Very nice smaller fixed blade for day or weekend outings. Placing my index finger on the finger choil ( I stoned the corner of the blade edge at the choil to protect my finger ) , I can get a full grip on the handle. With the jimping on the spine, I get a very secure grip for detailed work. With a four finger grip on the Micarta, my pinky is off the handle. It’s still comfortable and secure however. Nice sheath that came with boot/belt clip and belt attachment including fasteners..Blade was nicely sharped with a decent grind. I did touch it up on a ceramic stone for a fine edge. Not a fan of the rough textured coating on the blade. I smoothed it with 220 grit sandpaper. Overall, I really like this knife and sheath for short trips as an alternative to my larger TAK or Blackbird .
