better then a bk2
Its handle heavy making the blade very agile in your hand.edge was even and sharp.Just holding it in your hand says you can depend on it.very sturdy knife handle is good for me and i have size 8 gloves, sheath sucks but all ontario sheaths suck, its not why you buy the knife.im very happy i picked this up if was on the fence because its not that great on pictures and video ,but damn when you have it hand its just a beast. Its thick but the full flat grind will make it able to do small tasks. It has a true fulltang, its a slab och steel with some holes drilled for the screws into the handle, that makes it better then the bk2,try googling both models with the word fail and see for yourself.

GREAT KNIFE AT A GREAT PRICE!
Was looking for a knife for my emergency earthquake bag. This is perfect. Not too big not too small and certainly heavy duty enough to pry, dig and cut with. Sheath has a large enough pouch to hold a multi-tool and a folding diamond sharpener. Some of the other reviewers said the handles were blocky. Just what I wanted! Shaped the handles to fit my hands perfectly. No need to buy anything else. I'm a knife collector. I have some 50+ knives several in the $200+ range. None of which are as suitable as the Ranger TFI for the task. As always the Knife Center has great prices and service.
