Inexpensive and tough!
This is an excellent food prep knife. It is tough, light and flexible. It is very thin and it will sharpen up beautifully. It excels at slicing, but can be used for most cutting tasks. For the price it is a good tool to consider.

Cons: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard
Outstanding Blade.
This is one of the best bushcraft survival knives on the market. This knife is a perfect weight for doing both camp chores--batoning and also for kitchen work. There is one problem with it however. This is not a beginners knife. You need to know how to read the blade. Be forewarned, if you are unfamiliar with sharpening knives, this knife will really frustrate you until you get your first edge on it. Once you prep the knife, your are done. You just touch it up.
