Description
RET4000GCM: Tashi Bharucha T4000 Folding Knife, Green Canvas Micarta
Reate Knives

The T4000 by Reate Knives follows in the footsteps of the Baby Machine and T2500 folders with the blade placed well below the handle. It's another excellent design from Tashi Bharucha but this time, it's a full-size tactical piece with plenty of the style you've come to expect. The even spear point blade is designed to pierce but it also features plenty of belly for slicing and other utility type tasks. The elegant handle is contoured bead blasted titanium with your choice of carbon fiber, green or brown canvas Micarta inlay on the presentation scale. It feels excellent in the hand, even under hard use, and the flipping action - riding on ceramic bearings - is on par with the best in the industry. We've always loved Tashi's work and his collaborations with Reate, they are some of the best knives money can buy and are sure to serve you well for years to come.

Cons:
Pocket Sword!
I just got mine yesterday, so I can't say much except it's fit and finish are extraordinary and that big heavy blade flips open very smoothly. My only complaint is that the tip of the pocket clip is unnecessarily pointy- not a dealbreaker, just annoying. The designer, Tashi Bharucha, said this about the T4000 "[It] does not pretend to be anything other than a stabbing pocket sword."
