RMB6SFCIIHO: R. Murphy Boning Knife: 6" Carbon Steel Blade, Honduran Rosewood
R. Murphy Knives
With a thin, semi-flexible blade, this knife is perfect for removing the bones from meat, poultry and fish. The shape and flexibility allow the blade to get into small spaces, especially in deep cuts, holes and along the length of the bone. The sharp point is designed for precision when separating the meat from the bones in whole hams, lamb and veal legs. The blade is precision ground, hand-edged and honed resulting in a superior, long-lasting razor sharp cutting edge. The full tang is triple brass riveted to the wood handles providing strength, perfect weight and balance. The Honduran Rosewood is a tropical hardwood known for its beauty and durability and contains natural oils that resist wet environments.

Wood Handles
Wood Handles Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.
1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel (it will rust) and most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
