RMJKKLSHEATH: Leather Sheath for Kukri Fixed Blade
RMJ Tactical

Inspired by a traditional WWII and Vietnam commando sheath, this carry option offers a classic yet versatile design. This sheath is designed by Ryan M Johnson of RMJ Tactical to offer a useful, elegant solution to everyday carry. The Kukri sheath is made from vegetable tanned leather from one of America's oldest leather tanneries. The tanning process highlights the natural character of the leather and it only gets better with time. Belt loops for vertical carry as well as two D rings for attaching to your gear. Proudly made in the USA.
Semi-Custom
Semi-Custom
Semi-Custom or Mid-Tech knives are knives produced by a process in which the designer has more direct--but not complete--involvement; parts of these knives may still have been made by others.
Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.

Pros: Overall Quality, Durability, Carry Position
Cons: None
Very Nice, but not Outstanding
It is stitched well and snugly holds the heavy duty Kukri. I expected a thicker leather. Drawing the Kukri takes some breaking in, however, the leather itself is of fine quality. The drawing position is just right for me. I am 71" tall and 170 pounds. I have no real complaints and I do like it much more than the OEM plastic. It seems like a long term sheath, very well stitched. $130 is about fair market value, although $75 seems about fair.
