Description
RST7522: T-Series T101 Thor Flipper, Brown
Real Steel Knives

The T101 Thor is designed as a do-it-all kind of flipper with some seriously good action. The 3.75" hollow ground blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel and is 0.14" thick. The ultra-smooth blade opening is thanks to the fine ball bearing system and the strong detent, which also provides a sense of security while closing the knife. The handle is made from textured brown G10 over stainless steel liners and the grooves make for a very comfortable grip. This knife feels and flips like blade three to four times its price and is built extremely well.

That is not brown
Great knife. Even better than expected. But very dissapointed in the color. That is not brown. Not any shade of brown. More a dull purple. Strangest color I have ever seen. Would have purchased the black handle model but it was not available.

Highly Impressive Folder
Late last year knife laws were relaxed in Australia, opening up a whole new plethora of knives available to us Ozzie knife nuts. Not wanting to spend too much in case the message hadn't reached the over zealous customs officers, I purchased my first flipper. The Real Steel T101.It arrived with no problems and boy was I surprised at the very high level of fit and finish with quality materials in this knife. It flips open like a dream, smooth as butter and the detent sucks it back perfectly and holds firm. Lock up is rock solid and there is zero blade play open or closed, grind is near perfect and blade is perfectly centred when closed. I love the stonewashed look and it will certainly hide any everyday scratches or wear marks. Blade wasn't hair popping sharp, but certainly what I would expect from a knife at this price point, I don't have much experience with this Sandvik steel but from what I've read it's a good stainless, I've had no issues to date.If you are looking for a solid no BS decent size folder, where quality belies its price tag, have a serious look at this one.

Good built knife
This is my third knife from Real Steel and all of them are great. This one, like the others,is a very well built, solid and good size folding ( unbelievable its price!). All the metallic parts, including the blade, are stonewashed type, for me very attractive. The cutting edge is the whole length of the blade,9´5 cm.The handle is confortable and not heavy (the esqueletonise frame covered with not very sick G10 scales make it quite light for such a solid knife). Its length is 12 cm,good for big hands like mines.I did not give 5 stars because the space where the linerlock lays and where we have to push with our thumb´s tip to unlock and fold the knife is a bit small for me (remember, big hands). So when I try to fold it ,the flipper hit quickly my thumb, just as the knife moves only half a centimeter when folding, forcing me to withdraw my thumb too early for lack of space. But for other than that,I am very glad of my purchase. It is a good knife.
