About Ruger

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) and CRKT are pleased to introduce Ruger knives to the commercial sporting market. This complete knife line was designed exclusively for Ruger by CRKT master knife-smiths and is being built by CRKT, an industry leader in knives and tools. "Ruger is focused on bringing affordable, rugged and reliable products to our consumer base," said Chris Killoy, Ruger President and COO, "As we looked to expand our licensing program, we knew that we wanted a knife manufacturer that shared these goals. CRKT is a great fit," he concluded.

Pros: Weight, Handle Feel, Handle Material
Cons: None
A nice little knife to match my Ruger pistols
I like the looks of this knife and profile of the blade. Most of my last few knife purchases have been for thinner, sleeker blades and handles. This on fit right in and is the least expensive of the bunch. Mine flipped open just fine on the first try. You just have to put the tip of your finger on the edge of the flipper and snap it down. I have had a few times where the lock did not engage because it got it 98% open. It probably needs some lube and fidgeting.

New EDC Knife
Good quality. I like the blade shape and the fit of the handle in my hand. Opening the knife is a little stiff.
