The Schrade 2202UH fixed blade hunting knife features a full tang 2.75" blade made from D2 steel. D2 is an air-hardened tool steel. Sometimes called a "semi-stainless" steel because it does contain 12% Chromium. This steel offers exceptional edge retention as well as decent corrosion resistance. Somewhat difficult to sharpen, this steel can be finished to a high polish shine. The handles are made from stag horn held together with brass pins.
