Cons: None
Nice knife from a long time trusted Brand
What's not to like? It took a little break in work to get the release lock and the release button to work smoother, after that, no problem.Compared to $200+ auto knives, this little gem is great. It will from now on be my EDC. I use my EDC's for opening packages, cutting boxes, etc. generally light duty routine cutting. The blade is very sharp out of the box. It has a short proximal area of Spyderco type serrations which would be the hardest part to sharpen when the time comes. In my experience, the serrations are invaluable for cutting rope or twine (550)The aluminum handle feels nice in the hand and is not bulky in the pocket. You may want to get a T-8 and check the tightness of the pivot once in a while. The pocket clip is in the correct position to bring the knife smoothly into play.In conclusion: This knife will not compare to a Benchmade 9051, but it doesn't cost anywhere near as much either. It is handy, it works nice if you care for it (T-8 and oil). If you have expensive autos you carry on specialized work and would like a handy auto for EDC and not be afraid to loose it, this is your knife. I remember the old days when the Schrade Bear Paw was everybody's EDC carried in a belt sheath. Nice to be reunited with Schrade.I am satisfied with the quality for the price.

After a month or so, my use/experience -- for EDC (farm/ranch/construction)- I am into slim and "LIGHT" for EDC so generally have a Spyderco or Benchmade with poly handle- the name (Schrade) and price said 'Try. No big deal.'Of 20+ knives, its the best I've had! Slim but not too slim. Not too long. Great clip. Light. Auto open at perfect Goldilocks speed (not too fast, not too slow). Half serrated blade. Alum. handle feels better than most. Now if I could learn how to match its from-the-box sharp edge - Enough. Double thumbs up on this one!
