SCHF18: F18 Tactical Drop Point Re-Curve Fixed Blade
This Schrade F18 tactical drop point re-curve fixed blade features a powder coated 6.6" 8Cr13MoV high carbon stainless steel full-tang blade and textured TPE handle scales. The blade is extremely well designed for both push and pull cuts with an excellent handle angle for applying maximum pressure with minimum effort. The thermoplastic sheath is a friction fit model that is very sturdy and secures the knife well but allows for a quick, easy draw from multiple angles on the belt. We here at knifecenter.com find this to be a extremely heavy-duty, well-made knife at a great price!

SCHF18 versus SCHF10 short comparison
I have already schrade SCHF10 which is great. This one is lighter than the SCHF 10, the thickness of the blade is getting narrower as you move to the tip (which is much less in the SCHF10).It does not have a hole for the lanyard. It is more meant to be tactical and for this its design is more appropriate, also its lightness helps for faster moves. The sheath is in Kydex and fitting very well. This is much better than the sheath of the SCHF 10). It did not come very sharp out of the box. The steel is 8CrMov13 the same as the SCHF 10 and I could sharpen it very easily, so once sharpen it will be great.I did not use it yet, the SCHF 10 could hold the edge quite well and is easy to sharpen to a very sharp edge.I am happy to have this knife.Delivery was very long due to some of the products of the order that had to be brought in the shop.Customer service was helpful when I called them.
