Description
SCHF21: F21 Tactical One-Piece Double Edge Boot Knife
Schrade

This Schrade F21 tactical one-piece spear point boot knife is a single piece knife design and it's got a hollow handle for storing small survival items and accessories. The knife features a double edge drop forged 1070 high carbon steel blade which flows through the finger guard in a single piece to form the handle. The butt end cap, which features a glass breaker on it, is removable for storage or to attach to a stick and create a makeshift spear of sorts. The sheath on this knife is a cool glass filled nylon friction fit specimen with a clip on the back that can attach to a boot and is also wide enough that you can thread a belt through. We here at knifecenter.com are fans of the one-piece design and this extremely slim variation is very well-made and available at a great price!

Marvellous knife for the size
I use this together with a couple of other boot knives, which can be fastened to boots, belts, moles, or straps. The size, and the eventual sharpness (it retains an edge far better than some I won’t mention) make for a useful lightweight knife. Whilst it might conceivably be used in CQB in extreme cases, there are far better knives for that purpose.Whether you buy this is down to preference. I wasn’t a fan of the sheaf clip that helped secure the knife but it loosened up bit thank to Dremel, but it was just a tiny adjustment and not a massive revision. All in all I like this knife, which might explain why I currently own/carry three or more.

Nice knife
This is a very well made knife. Round handle is a little different feel in hand, but the sealed hollow tube may come in quite handy for camping and such. It's a little heavy in boot , but clip seems to hold it well. The release is somewhat awkward to reach when in boot , but maybe it just takes a little practice. Blade is not particularly sharp ,easy to correct. Nice solid knife .
