I Can Dig It
Nice compact design. This is a step up from most compact army shovels. I purchased this for a bug-out bag I was putting together for my son. I should switch it out, and give him my old wood handled folding army shovel. But, as a parent, we always want a better life for our kids; so, I’ll let him have this nice telescoping shovel. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Takes a minute to figure out the lock on the telescoping handle, but once you figure it out it is easy to use. Seems durable enough, although some play is noted in the upper handle. The “T” handle is a nice feature for digging in shovel mode. Quickly rotates to use as a pick, or collapses for packing. Nice nylon sheath, too.

Good tool, wish it had molle
I picked this up a few weeks ago. It is one of the best E-Tools out there as far as functionality. What I do like about it is the quality of the metal, the sharpness of the blade (you can actually chop wood and probably cut rope with the sides of the shovel. The angle adjust and lock is well made. But the little plastic thing that pulls out and pushes into the holes to adjust the handle length is poorly designed and very hard to use.I also wish the nylon cover had molle webbing instead of two little belt loops. I mean how much does it really cost to put a couple of molly web strips instead of belt loops? It would make it so much more useful. I will have to either modify the sheath that came with it or pitch it and use something else(wasted money).
