Schanz Handmade Knives
Jurgen Schanz has a flair for the dramatic and an eye for style. His design lines flow smoothly and always seem to hit the ergonomic and aesthetic marks. This custom folder features a 3.625" blade made from durable stainless Niolox steel. Jurgen feels this is a perfect steel for it's high hardness, great edge holding capabilities, and corrosion resistance. The thumb hole, like Spyderco's, is an ideal way to open the blade for both lefties and righties. The handle is made from media blasted titanium with a dark blue anodized finish for the locking side and an amazing rainbow titanium laminate for the face scale. There aren't many knives out there with handles like these! It's constructed with stainless steel hardware and the replaceable lockbar insert and the overtravel mechanism are made from stainless Damasteel. It comes with a right-hand, tip-up pocket clip, nylon carry pouch and was handmade in Germany.
