SMG1362S: 1362S Censor, Karambit
Steel Will Knives

Responding to the requests of their customers, Steel Will has expanded the Censor series to include a Karambit-style blade, complete with finger ring. Made famous by its use in Filipino martial arts, the Karambit is an effective self-defense knife, especially in the hands of a skilled operator. The curved pistol grip handle provides for good control, is convenient for self-defense, and is also very capable of performing common tasks. The injected molded nylon sheath strongly secures the knife allowing its handler to carry it at any angle. The DOTS clip provides many options for placement on a belt or any other suitable object, affording the handler easy and quick access. The knife's compact size allows for concealed carry while the full-tang design gives it maximum strength.

I really wanted to like this.....
Knife looks awesome, but feels wrong in the hand. All other aspects of the knife are spot on-sheath, handle size, blade shape, etc... Changing the angle of the finger "hole" more towards the edge of the blade for a better balanced hammer grip would make is knife outstanding. Hopefully they will change this model up, and I would purchase another one. Knife center was great as usual!

Needs a slight design change
I purchased the new Karambit due to the price point and the general look of the knife. I teach edged weapons/combatives, as well as a custom knife maker, who also makes Karambits. I have collected them for years and have seen many different designs. The weight of this one is nice and the handle and finish seems sturdy. My major complaint is the linear ring placement on this Karambit, making the reverse grip uncomfortable, with the fore finger out of alignment. A simpledesign change of dropping the ring slightly towards the blade edge side would fix the issue and make it ergonomic.
