Steel Will Knives

The Intrigue is a light and compact EDC knife with a full-size blade. It combines such characteristics of a gentleman's knife like elegant shapes, a narrow blade, and quality materials. The blue stand-offs add vivacity to the knife design.

D2 Tool Steel

D2 is a tool steel that exhibits excellent characteristics as a blade steel. This air-hardened steel is more corrosion resistant than other high carbon steels due to its high chromium content and offers a good mix of toughness, wear resistance, and edge holding ability.

Cons:
Close but no bannana!
This is just a fit and finish detail away from a 5 star.Came sharp enough. Looks good, a little better than the pictures. It flips out a little stiff compared to the ball bearing knives but with a little flip in the wrist it snaps in place nicely. I'm sure it will loosen up over time. Very thin and light for a D2 knife. It will be good in rip-stop nylon cargo pants. Only real complaint is the jimping is very sharp on the edges, almost a serrated edge. Gonna need to break the edges off the flipper and the back of the blade thumb jimping somehow. The edges on the liner lock have been softened so I know they know how to do it on the blade also. This little finishing detail really would have made this a five star knife. That is in my opinion, of course.Just another Fit & Finish observation; the pocket clip is TIGHT! Along with the pattern of the FRN, it will tear up pants, assuming that you can even get it on the pocket. This is easily fixed and I would rather loosen up a clip than have to tighten one. No lost stars from me for that.
