Pros: Lock Type, Ease of Opening, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: Overall Quality, None
Wish it was better quality
I got this knife earlier this year because I love the blade shape and color and I’ve known Sog to be quality products. I’m sad to say that my understanding couldn’t be farther from the truth. After about a month of use the spring that ejects the blade out was considerably weaker than the day I opened it. Like half of the tension if not less after 4 weeks of OCCASIONAL use. Earlier today roughly 6 months of use I dropped the knife for the first time on concrete from 4 feet and it broke. the lock mechanism that holds the blade in the folded position no longer works so now the blade won’t stay closed making it dangerous and useless as a pocket knife. Deeply disappointed that a $100 knife did not even last 6 months. I thought dog stepped up their game but it’s obvious they still make Walmart knives with an outrageous price tag
