Description
SOG71: XV71 X-Ray Vision
SOG

Two words that best describe the X-Ray Vision series are tactical and practical. This combo edged folder features the same blade design as the SOG Vision like using high-end VG10 steel, but retails at half the price.

Created for optimal performance and value, the X-Ray Vision series is a member of the high-tech family of SOG folding knives. This knife is further enhanced with SOG's revolutionary Arc-Lock for fast-access and full lockup. The X-Ray Vision series keeps a low profile with its bead blasted blade finish and black glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle to keep it lightweight and comfortable to hold and carry. A reversible low-carry pocket clip allows both righties and lefties to carry the X-Ray Vision conveniently in pocket, pack, or on vest, belt, or jacket.

THE ARC-LOCK

With its ambidexterity - and all the other attributes knife enthusiasts so relentlessly seek - the Arc-Lock might just be the perfect lock.

STRENGTH
Tested at over 1,000 lbs. of force (measured at the lock), far surpassing conventional lock strength.

SPEED
Lightning-quick, one-handed opening and closing capability.

SAFETY
Spring-action securely retains blade closed, keeping fingers safely clear while unlocking.

DURABILITY
Self-adjusting over time and easily cleaned for long-term optimal performance.

Buy this Knife!
This is a very high quality knife with all the features I look for. Being a southpaw I appreciate that it is left hand friendly. It is solid without a hint of flimsiness. It is my new EDC knife and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Well Made Knifev
I carry this Knife for EDC on a leg drop holster. The knife is well made and can tell the quality difference with the SOG made in Japan. Knife came extremely sharp out of box. Would recommend highly for self defense even though knife is not auto assisted opening. I enjoy ordering from KnifeCenter because they don't jack up the shipping charges to Hawaii and it's very fast. Cons: I feel the tip of the pocket clip sticks out too far allowing other items to hang up on it. But it's definitely not a deal breaker.

Very nice EDC knife
I really love this knife. Easy to open and close whether using the thumb stud to flip it open or pressing the lock and flipping open. Releasing the lock also allows you to be able to flip it closed. Truly can do both one handed. Blade is extremely sharp...shaving sharp. I've read many good things about the VG-10 steel that this blade is made from. I carry this knife with me everyday now. Fits right in my back pocket and doesn't dig in to my hip. Also wears nicely and is unnoticeable. I have a lot of knives but this is the one I carry. 'Nuff said.

Great Knife - Utility
Steel is not too hard to sharpen, but keeps a good edge. I use it for everything from scraping concrete to cutting my sandwich. It's a great hand feel and stability. Only bad thing is I lost it after 4 years - it needs a GPS chip.
