SOG72: MXV72 X-Ray Vision Mini
Two words that best describe the X-Ray Vision series are "tactical" and "practical". This partially serrated folder features the same blade design as the SOG Vision using high-end VG10 steel, but retails at half the price.

Created for optimal performance and value, the X-Ray Vision series is a member of SOG's high-tech family of folding knives. This knife is further enhanced with SOG's revolutionary Arc-Lock for fast-access and full "lockup". The X-Ray Vision series keeps a low profile with its bead blasted blade finish and black glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle to keep it lightweight and comfortable to hold and carry. A reversible low-carry pocket clip allows both righties and lefties to carry the X-Ray Vision conveniently in pocket, pack, or on vest, belt, or jacket.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
Only thing would change is the tip, tanto isn’t my fav. Though this is a hall of famer. The clip holds on to my thin gym shorts without much trouble. Blade is smooth to deploy, small enough to be pocketable. Not so small that it’s hard to handle. Grippy scales and good steel.

So Smooth & Safe
Perfect EDC with a 3 inches blade length law. The Arc-Lock is the safest and smoothest version of this style of lock I've ever used. Just get one before they are gone. According to SOG's representatives, that I spoke to on the phone this knife is being discontinued. I bought a spare one for a small collection. The Arc-Lock allows you to open and close the knife with one hand without risking getting cut like you do with most back, liner or frame locks. The Arc-Lock has been just as strong or even stronger than the Tri-Ad Lock in my experiance with all of the ones mentioned above.

The best everyday knife that I have owned
I have had this knife in my pocket for the last 8 years. In my opinion it is the perfect knife to pack around. It sits low in the pocket so you don't have to worry about it slipping out. I lost 4 spidercos that way. The tanto is perfect for opening boxes, sliding under banding and cutting with the serrated. The one hand opening and closing is effortless but it has never come open in my pocket (like CRKT). The zytel handle keeps its grip when wet and just feels right. I have nothing bad to say about this knife and it has not let me down or become misplaced in 8 years. That is a record for me. You may be able to find it cheaper at a gun show than but I has been worth a $100 to me.
